Self-Employed Support - Will 2019-20 Tax Returns be Considered?

I started self employment in 2018-19 tax year but majority of my income way PAYE that year (from before I went self employed) so I am not eligible for the support announced last Thursday as your S.E. income must be >50% of overall income.
Has there been any suggestions that 2019-20 tax returns will be considered for this scheme once these latest tax returns can be submitted to HMRC next week?  This would put me over the 50% S.E. income threshold (for this year and the last 2 years combined) and make me eligible as earnings are also under £50K for the year and I will have one full year's self-employed income to report plus 10 months from the year before.
Thanks in advance, any help very much appreciated as currently i'm not eligible for any support or JSA / UC.

None whatsoever, and in my opinion they won't be, no doubt due to fears the figures will be manipulated as the tax year has not ended.
  • I have suggested to MP's and anyone who will listen that, as the end of the 2019/20 tax year has passed and we are not expecting anything to happen support wise till end of June, anyone submitting a 2019/20 return should have that calculated into whatever benefit is available.  I am in a similar position, having moved home and therefore taken a year off and then another rebuilding a business.  It's only in the last year that I have been making anything worthwhile again.  I am sure that people like Martin have suggested this but it does not seem to have been pushed anywhere.

There is no indication of any relaxation at present. The relaxation on date in the CJRS was still only to a date before CJRS was announced, so that makes it more unlikely that the Government will alter the SEISS to bring in 2019/20, but you never know.
