Disney + Subscription

Thought we'd take up the 12 month discounted (-£10) offer. So on the 7th March 2020 did just that, got the email for joining that day, money taken from bank on the 9th March. Busy like everyone else so did nothing for a week, couldn't get the app until 24th March anyway. 14th March had to get one time code from Disney reset password received acknowledgement email  and waited for the 'Big' day.
24th March download app log on and get asked to enter Card details, though this odd but maybe just for security we think....Oh no Disney put us on monthly billing. Do online help and explain what happened to be told we had joined on the 24th March. Explain again and get complaint upgraded. Explain again to new Customer service advisor who states cannot find us at all before 24th March again state have all previous emails and screenshot of Bank Statement. Advisor says will leave no stone unturned and we forward Disney mails and screenshot and card details (last 4 digits, exp date). Simply get no reply, sent email asking for reply within 24 hrs........zip response.
Speak to bank thinking maybe we have been scammed, Bank confirms it is a legitimate business  Disney Plus and not scammers. Get back onto live chat, explain again, tell we are taking screenshots for our records, bad move, disconnected. Back on live chat, explain again advisor is obtuse and asks same questions although we give ref number, disconnects us. A bit ratty by now but get back on chat and simply state that we are tired of being disconnected and advisor gets a strop on and yes disconnects us. Never once did I swear or become abusive a little pushy maybe but after all we have paid for a service we are being told we do not have and worse Disney deny we had that service.
Cancelled monthly subscription as will not pay again  for service already paid for.
Our experience of Disney is therefore a little tainted but promise we will not allow them to rip us off.
