Credit card refund

Can anyone help! In Jan I paid for a hotel in Amsterdam via booking.com on a post office credit card. The 0% purchases offer ended on my post office card so I closed it and transferred my balance to a barclays credit card. With COVID19 the hotel in Amsterdam has sadly shut. Booking.com have offered a full refund, however as I said before my post office account (how I paid bookg.com for the hotel) is now closed. Booking.com have said I need to contact post office as the money will be with them, they gave me an ARN number. Post office are saying I need to call back wednesday as they cant see the money in my balance....even though I said the account is closed surely the refund will bounce?? They are unable to track it with the ARN number.

How can I get my refund?!?!
Thanks in advance!

It will be with the Post Office. It won't bounce.

Can I withdraw a credit balance in cash from a Post Office atm without incurring charges?    Jet2 refunded for my cancelled flight (less than they owe me, but that's another story).

No.  Just ask them to send you the balance.

    Hi
I would appreciate some guidance if possible, I paid for 8 flights direct with Flybe through Nat West debit card and the rest on Barclaycard. I asked both organisations for a refund for goods not received Nat West refunded the payment within days. However I contacted Barclaycard via phone eventually speaking to someone and requested a refund, they sent some documentation which I completed and returned with all information. Since completing the paperwork I have messaged them via online banking but never receive a response this has now been ongoing for 6 weeks, I have given up trying to telephone them due to the wait times of over an hour. Can anyone advise as to how long these claims usually take to resolve.
    Many thanks

Quite a while at the moment.

You'll just need to be patient.
