I've not seen anyone other customers reporting en masse that Utility Point have elected to unilaterally not collect money due/owed. Nor have I seen any announcement to that effect.
Would seem extraoridnary, don't you think?
But these are extraordinary times we all find ourselves in and you are correct they have temporarily closed their call handling centre. (which they have announced)
However, they can still be contacted by email or via their online chat facility via their website. Live Chat currently open: Monday – Friday 09:00h - 18:30h

I know it is stating the blindingly obvious, but set that money aside, don't assume that just because they haven't taken it that they will not take at some point. So just keep it in your account ready, and don't spend it...0
