What to know about Reposessions?

How about this?

LOL! I was very tempted to place an offer for £100k
But I thought I would make a good offer, because of the potential the place offers me. I think it is worth it...
However, if they say no, I won't be making another offer. They own another identical property (its from the same BTL landlord!) on the road, which is currently on at £132K, which im pretty confident will do the same as the other property and come down drastically in price... so I have a 2nd chance if I want it
The carpets are nicer in the other house anyway... soooo just keep waiting

Miss Sparkly Star - they don't advertise them as reposessions.
However, look for properties with no chain, these could possibly be reposessions. A lot of reposessions need work done on them, so properties that have no chain, and need work often = repo's
Where are you looking at? I will search rightmove to see if I can spot any likely ones.
One estate agent told me they can't say they are reposessions apparantly. But she told me anyway!!! I normally just ask, and they tell me if it is or isn't.0 -
Wait a while, save up, and buy at auction... if you save for a few years while prices drop you'll be able to buy outright.Bankruptcy isn't the worst that can happen to you. The worst that can happen is your forced to live the rest of your life in abject poverty trying to repay the debts.0

Dorchester in dorset - or any of the surrounding villages. Beaminster, Bridport etc....
A thatched cottage would be nice but I know thay will probably never ever come up.....:rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
Sometimes they are auctioned in major towns far away from where the actual house is.
