I am having the same problem. And getting the same screen as you. You’ll be timed out eventually anyway. Somewhere on the website it does tell you to sign out and log in to check later, and that it’ll send you an email when all has been approved. It also says, somewhere on the website, that it could take up to 12 hours (it’s been longer for me) - conflicting information I know.
I still haven’t heard anything from yesterday afternoon. And 2 credit cards failed as ID even though I triple-checked the info I put in. Then my O2 account failed as ID?!?! It had asked if I was signed up with O2 or EE and even after putting in that info correctly, it failed! Like HOW!?!?Also the Universal Credit application online says I have until Tuesday to do my identity check or else I have to apply all over again....looks like this will turn into a vicious circle. It took 4 tries to have my email confirmed on the universal credit application website. I’ve already received a reminder email from them to get the ID check done....like, I’m TRYING!!!
I emailed Digidentity late this morning and have not yet heard back. As you may know they are not taking phone calls or chats.Anyone else having similar problems???1 -
Are you at the stage, where you can send a journal message through to UC, just to inform of the problems you are having ?
Sounds like the identity companies systems just cannot cope with the volume of requests.
If you cannot verify your ID online, if you contact the UC helpline on 0800 328 5644, they can arrange a phone appointment, where UC will call you to verify your identity, They will ask you for ID documents and condiuct a biographical check. The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.1 -
A family member has been trying for 3 days solid, at the verification stage it times out; nothing at all changes this, emails sent via their contact section may bring some help but I doubt it.
I realise the system is probably overloaded but there appears to be nothing more to do; not helpful at all.
The telephone number provided hasn't had any operators taking calls, despite it showing the working hours as Saturdays and Sundays.
I wondered if the Post Office link associated with it has also overloaded, seems reasonable, it does, however, leave the applicant in limbo; again, not helpful at this stressful time.

Digidentity is a complete joke 😡. I just got two emails saying two of my identity documents have been accepted, but when I log in to complete the registration, they both still say that they are pending approval. What the hell??? I’m in a situation where if I don’t get this done today I’ll have to start the universal credit application all over again. 😡😡😡😡😡I’ve also left three messages in my universal credit journal and nothing.
I can see in the iTunes App Store that for the past 3 or more years Digidentity has received almost exclusively 1 star ratings - and the majority of these people comment that they would rather give no stars. These one star ratings are going back years, not just recently. And they are government approved. How embarrassing.0 -
Wont use them when they start asking for my bank card number AND the cvv code.
WHAAAAAT ? How is having total access to use my bank card online proving my identity ? There is zero chance I will be using that place.
And to top it off, the phone number just cuts you off.what is the plural of moose?
