Mine arrived on Friday - it was already budding in the post and since I planted it the leaves have started developing - willow really does grow fast!!

Yes, they certainly are; they are very strong and vigorous and will need keeping in check.
Great plants though, and come in several variants, I have several from dwarf to mid size.
