Capital One UK Here to Help

Like many, I have a capital One credit card. For the first time in years I have a balance, not massive but not able to be cleared with one months furloughed salary.
Capital One are offering customer the opportunity to apply for a 90 day payment holiday, wherein they make no payments but there are no fees or late charges etc .
That said, they will continue to charge interest on the outstanding balance which for some will be worse than the other charges.
These interest charges will be compounded and as there will be no payments being made will exacerbate an already difficult situation.
Should Capital One Uk do more ?
Is there anything we can do to persuade them to reduce or stop interest for a period ?
All comments and advice appreciated,
Kind Regards to all
