Somehow the settings for a family members Gmail account has changed, no more is Inbox, Drafts etc on the left, the top of the screen now looks like this
If you cant see it, theres a black bar across the top of the screen with compose in blue on the right and a button on the left where you can select Inbox, Drafts etc.
Anyone comes across it before and how on earth do I put it back to how it was. Its almost like its in basic/HTML mode.
Issue is only on Firefox, Chrome and Edge are fine, must be Firefox related as my account is fine on FF.
Thanks
Ah think Ive sorted it, when asked Do you want to use HTML Gmail they clicked on the "Id like to use HTML Gmail".
Wonder how I can go back to non HTML.
Ive answered my own question as it looks like its due to using Firefox which is a legacy browser.

Firefox is very much not a legacy browser.
Firefox issues like this are almost always caused by profiles or extensions.  Disable the extensions and create a new profile and see if the issues follows.  If it doesn't, one or the other is at fault.

Yes I agree but that's what the on screen message says when i log into my Gmail account.
I know what the issue is (its like I described albeit maybe poorly), Ill add some more information.
This is what it says when I log in to Gmail
    "

Do you really want to use HTML Gmail?

You’re about to use a version of Gmail designed for slower connections and legacy browsers. To get all of Gmail’s features, including inbox categories, images, and quick actions, please use the latest version of Gmail (recommended)."

2 boxes, 1 is for "Take me to latest Gmail" and the other is "Id like to use HTML Gmail".

Ok so it doesn't specify FF is a legacy browser.

Its not due to extensions as no extensions have been installed.

Ive tried clicking the "Take me to latest Gmail " box and nothing happens.
Thanks for your help Neil, Chrome it is then.

That's a standard message everybody who goes into that "basic GMail" option gets, its just says its designed for legacy (ie old) browsers.
With regards to your problem, instead of switching browser why don't you try and fix your Firefox?  Just make a new profile in it and see if the Gmail issue goes away.  Takes two seconds.
If at that point you want to stay on Chrome, then feel free.
