Short term Rental property: best place to advertise?

I own two very successful holiday bungalows which are currently sitting empty. I've decided to look for short-term (90 day) lodgers/rental but obviously worried about the difference between holiday makers and long term rental. Has anyone any experience of this? I'm aquainted with contracts as I've a friend who lets her bungalows (but on long term let's and in an industrial area) and will change my insurance policy. It's more the 'finding suitable lodgers' part I'm asking for help with. Any ideas?

I suggest before you go any further with your plans you learn the difference in occupation law between a holiday maker, a lodger and a TENANT0

A holidaymaker is not a lodger.A lodger is not a tenant.A tenant is neither a holidaymaker nor a lodger. There are imprtant legal differences and if you don't understand these, or the implications of granting occupation under the wrong terms, you will be entering a minefield which will likely blow up in your face, either via the occupant taking advantage, the Local Authority taking legal action, or HMRC imposing penalties for an erroneously filed tax return. As for 'finding suitable lodgers', Spareroom.com is often used to find lodgers. Suitable? Interiew them to see if your personalities clash or are compatible, and then do standard background checks.

My local council was asking holiday home owners and landlords if they have furnished accommodation for key workers who live out of area. Maybe your council is the same.1
