A friend has a DMTech LT42XTY television which is asking for a four digit "lock key" to work. Has anyone got a similar make tv and know the default lock key. Thanks.

Usual defaults are 0000 or 1111, have they been tried.

    I can't believe that someone constructed a webpage with 10000 four-digit numbers on - and didn't use a monospaced font!  :'(

Whats worse is that the telly might lock down for for a period of time after each set of incorrect pins have been tried. Could be a long day for the OP's friend.

I used to work in a shop and customers brought back "faulty" combination locks, - they had screwed up setting their own combination - and we used to sit down and run through 0001 - 9999.  Didn't usually take that long.
