Any tips on costs such septic tank for french property? is anyone else doing up property in france?

    Hi, I have some friends who have just done this, and I will be doing it early next year.

    Once you have a property and permission from the 'Marie' (can take a while...), you can get the tank put in. If budget is limited, you can dig the hole yourself to save money. I would budget about 3000 or 4000 euros if you don't do any work yourself. This is very rough. Some pay a lot more, some a lot less.

    Yes, but don't take my guess as gospel - search these listed forums (fora?) for comments from people who have done it. But yes, I would expect that price to include everything. Depends on area etc and how much they take offence to you being English. : )
