Universal Credit deducted from government help

Hi
Does anyone know as a self employed window cleaner if I claim Universal credit will it be deducted from the 80% of my earnings that the government will give me back in June.
I just think for the sake of the £73.00 they say I am entitled to and the stress that I am having trying to apply for Universal Credit maybe it isn't worth the hassle
.I'm really hoping someone can answer this question because I cant find anything about and I don't know who else to ask.
Thank you

Claiming UC doesn't affect the grant. Based on information information available we would expect that when the grant is paid it will be treated as earnings when calculating UC entitlement (if any) for that month.alisonblackburn said:Hi

If you are a single person over 25 with no rent to pay and no children UC per month will be 409.89 from 6th April.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.0 -
If you are well enough to work as a window cleaner then are you sure that you should be receiving ESA and PIP?0

I suspect they did the same as I've just done, had a look at the OP's threads due to the odd nature of the most recent Savings threadpoppy12345 said:John_ said:If you are well enough to work as a window cleaner then are you sure that you should be receiving ESA and PIP?
