Depends what you mean by "in some way". But I'd say energy companies such as British Gas are probably better off than they were before. Fewer obligations to fulfil with the same revenue stream.

Given the time it must take to do the shopping with all the social distancing, I wonder whether even they will make more money? I'd say banks will do very well out of mortgage holidays.
At least in the short term, certain food manufacturers have seen huge spikes in demand.

The criteria to be eligible for the scheme we are discussing is 'severely affected'.
Most businesses have been affected in some way, including supermarkets, but they have to be 'severely affected' to be eligible, so the question is not relevant.
The term 'severely affected' is clearly open to interpretation as the level is not defined by the guidelines. In my opinion(which counts for nothing), a company that has seen a 25% or more drop in turnover is severely affected, whereas a company who has seen a 5% drop in turnover is only slightly affected. Of course, there are other circumstances that could severely affect a business but generally the end result would be a decrease in turnover.
