    Only termination for gross negligence / disciplinary is excluded. No need to be rude.

    In which case you should refuse the furlough offer.
    If they don't make you redundant, you keep your job at full pay. Whether you physically have to work or not is down to whether the company can allow you to do this whilst adhering to the government guidelines of social distancing.
    If they do make you redundant you will get 8 months pay for doing nothing.
