Thank you markmcgarry. So from my understanding you will have a telephone appointment? So should I just wait for an email.0

My own experience is I finally got through to the DWP (UC) on Friday afternoon after being on hold for 5 hours. After confirming some of my details, I was told I would get a call from my local Job Centre on Monday afternoon and to be prepared for it by having my tenancy agreement, passport, utility bill and National Insurance number to hand. Five minutes later I got a call from the Job Centre asking if it was OK to do the interview there and then as next week is looking manic for them.
The interview was very straight forward, lasted about 10 minutes and I didn't actually need any of the things I was told I would need. I simply told the guy that I was self-employed, out of work and what my rent costs. He read through some statements and commitments that I had to agree to (which luckily did not include looking for another job which is what I was worried about) and he then said I'd find out next month what (if anything) I will be getting.
So in short, you will have a telephone appointment conducted by your local Job Centre, but this is booked for you by the DWP. I was lucky enough to get through on the phone but I suppose it's possible they've implemented this automated email appointment booking to speed things up. If you don't get an email over the weekend, I would suggest phoning them again and staying on hold for as long as it takes, but don't just sit and wait for an email that may never come.
