Mortgages PLC - I just can't get through to them

We are looking to request a payment holiday. The problem is, there is no email address or alternative contact (except by post) and the phone lines aren't getting answered. I have just spent three hours on hold, in fear of my phone bill I hung up after that time. 

What can we do? Is anyone else with this company?

Same problem . My husband took out a mortgage in 2002 with them. He was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Mortgages plc tell me they aren’t providing mortgages anymore for me to take over the payments/mortgage. They are giving me six months to sell our home after he dies. Have not been able to speak with anyone. I had to write to them. And never been able to talk to a single person. Sometimes hanging on phone for three hours on speaker

Although clearly not a nice situation to be in, if they're not offering new mortgages they're not offering new mortgages.  Even if they were willing to take phone calls on this (and they don't have to) I'm not sure what speaking to someone would actually achieve.
