Santander Mortgage holiday

Hi all, we have a mortgage with Santander. I called them this week and have agreed a 3 month mortgage holiday, when I spoke with them they let me know it wasn't an application, that the holiday is fine, and to cancel the direct debit which we have done. I have got a text saying 'We've received your mortgage holiday application so you do not need to call us for an update. We'll contact you with a further update in due course' which implied it now is an application? Just worried I have cancelled the direct debit - I don't want to contact them again unnecessarily at the moment if lots of other people have. Any one else in the same situation?

Not exactly, but a business loan handled this in the same fashion.
Instantly gave the "holiday" and instructed us to delete the Direct Debit.GETTING BACK ON TRACK (SLOWLY)

Apparently my application did not go through because I don’t pay by direct debit and my mortgage payment is due tomorrow spoke to someone on the phone and they said I need to set up a direct debit and they can start it from next month.......so they want me to set up a direct debit so that I can cancel it0
