Kitchen sink waste unit

Apologies in advance for the lack of technical terms - my DIY knowledge is incredibly limited!
The plug hole and waste unit for my kitchen sink has come away due to a rusted screw. We're in quarantine at the moment so can't call a plumber in.
I bought what I thought I needed to fix it - '1 bowl waste and overflow kit' from Screwfix. I (foolishly, I now realise!) didn't actually measure the hole to check it would fit - I just assumed all plug holes were the same size. It turns out that it's far too large. The bowl bit (that goes in on the upper part of the sink) is far too wide - 114mm, when the hole in my sink is around 50mm. I've googled but don't really know what I'm looking for, and am hesitant to buy something else without being sure that it's the right thing! Can anyone advise me what I need to look for?
In case it makes a difference, the old plug was just a regular plug hole; not one with a waste strainer on it.

The one you've bought is a standard waste kit for the vast majority of sinks on the market; it sounds like you've either got a specialist sink or an older one with a 1+1/2" waste connection.

This should work fine except the overflow pipe will probably be a bit long. Normally, you can just cut down one end to shorten it.

Anyway, you just need a bath or basin waste, and Screwfix have loads to choose from.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
"WOLSEY" ( PLUMB CENTRE) is better if their is one near you .0
