I work as a Ltd company with myself as sole employee, the chancellors help package doesn’t seem to cover myself or am I just not looking at things the right way ? Any help or advice would be great can I claim as self employed or as employed or not entitled at all !
Cheers

I have a similar question. I also work as limited company. It pays me about £8500 in salary and £5500 in dividends. I have been told by my accountant that I can claim as an employee but only on the salary not dividends. How do I go about this? Thanks in advance.0

You need to wait until everything is in place, which it isn't currently. I imagine it's going to be well into April before the gov portal will be up and running.0

We have been told we have to have salary cuts across where I work. We still have to work as normal. This feels wrong ? Can companies do this to protect against c19 impact.

https://www.gov.uk/guidance/claim-a-grant-through-the-coronavirus-covid-19-self-employment-income-support-schemeIf you’re a director of your own company and paid through PAYE you may be able to get support using the Job Retention Scheme.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.0 -
The company are obviously trying to ensure they maintain their business - hopefully it will mean that in a few months you will be returning to full pay rather than be joining the growing number of unemployed. Look on one of the benefits calculators to see whether your reduced income would make you eligible for top up benefits.0
