My wife picked up two tickets in Asda recently , both for longer overstays.  I complained to the manager and they were cancelled within days.

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP., it can cause the scammer extra costs and work, and in some cases, cancellation.

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.

Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies.

What happened when you complained to the manager of the Asda?  Don't they want you to shop there anymore?  They do know that "other supermarkets are available" and neither, you nor your friends or family can afford to shop there EVER AGAIN if every shopping bill comes with a £100 surcharge.  Don't understand why you cannot get a credit/debit card statement due to vivid (presume you mean Covid) 19.  Aren't all statements like this available on-line?

Repeat the name of the PPC because what you wrote is incorrect

Complain by phone to the Asda manager listed on your receipt to start with , quoting the PCN reference and details of your receipt and total , if necessary goto their website and complain to the Leeds head office , don't be fobbed off by either

Appeal as keeper using the blue text template from the newbies FAQ sticky thread near the top of the forum as well , but no blabbing about who was driving

Given the restrictions in store and their queuing system it takes a lot longer to shop now , so spread it thickly , complain politely but firmly and insist on a cancellation

    Was it ukpc ??
