  • 123-reg are good value foir domain names. You can get pretty resonable free hosting from a number of sources.

    Here's a good comparison site

    http://www.free-webhosts.com/webhosting-01.php

I have used http://www.freevirtualservers.com/ in the past without any issues

http://www.heartinternet.co.uk/freewebhosting.shtml are new and based on the background of the individuals should prove to be a good choice

Never had a problem with 123-reg, used them for many years, they've been part of Pipex for ages. The only issue is that you cannot directly contact tech support without going through the support control panel and logging your question.
  • http://www.3ix.org.I have used them for a year now. seems very good value for money.

    Couldn't agree more!!!

Have had some major problems with them the last three weeks, email queries are ignored as are fax queries. Have spoken to three separate customer service representatives/ex burger flippers from McDonalds (please delete as appropiate) and they all gave totally different info!

Avoid at all costs if you want/need any sort of decent customer service!

Have been cut off when trying to speak to customer services numerous times and that's if anyone is actually manning the phones!
