Switch Bank/Travel Insurance: Are holidays booked under old account honoured by new account?

Hi I've recently switched bank accounts from one reward type account to another, Halifax to NatWest, which both include travel insurance. I'm due to go on holiday in October 2020, but given the current climate that may not happen. I understand that companies are only taking claims if the travel ban is in place 31 days…

You get the judgemental and attacking on all forums. There are those who love the anonymity and glory in putting others down. They are in the minority an please don't assume that to be the norm. This is generally a very helpful site.
