Thanks everyone, I managed to get almost every one of our neighbours into their front gardens shouting, cheering & clapping & others just opened their windows & hung out to clap. I texted some & saw others in their gardens during the day so shouted across to them. It was very emotional. I did forget to mention the carers who don't work for the NHS as they are just as important. My Mum has Alzheimers & my sister is her full time carer but she is on the high risk list like myself & our parents so should be self isolating but she has no option but to carry on. No online slots available so she was risking crowded supermarkets but my nephew is now doing the shopping & Karen is collecting it from outside his house & taking it to Mum & Dad's so she can continue to take care of them. She asked their part time carer not to come until any risk of infection is over as she cares for others too so didn't want to risk it.My next door neighbour has a nurse, distric nurse & heart surgeon as clients & they've said that there aren't many cases in the East Midlands so the hospitals aren't overloaded so hopefully lockdown is going to work & prevent the spread of the infect around here. I hope it's the same in other places too. Stay safe everyone xPositivity is the key to success1

Myself and my OH were out clapping in our front garden. There were lots of other neighbours out too.
My DD is a nurse and my mom is in a nursing home .
I think they may be making this a weekly event .
