Direct debit

Hi am I right in thinking you could go on line and change how much you pay on your direct debit ie minimum payment or your desired amount? I tried to do that today while all this uncertainty is here, but I can't find it anywhere on my online credit card account

Perhaps if you divulge which provider you're talking about then someone can offer meaningful specific guidance, but in general, yes, most do allow a DD to be managed online, although not all allow a specific amount and may just offer minimum or full options....

You should be able to logon to your account and change the payment collected each month to 'minimum payment'.

Thanks for the reply, I thought I had the  option in the past, they must of taken the option off because of the current situation

Well, if you're happy to jump to that seemingly unsupported conclusion then so be it, but if you want to know the actual truth then you'd be best either asking the card company or disclosing who you're talking about on here so others can comment on an informed basis....
