Universal credits for self employed

I need help. My husband is a self employed electrician and is now out of work. I know there will be an announcement today, thankfully but I do need help. I’m an NHS worker currently on maternity leave. We have our own house which we have managed to get a mortgage holiday for for 3 months. As he lives with me, when applying for universal credits it gave him a linking code for me. We have 3 kids and do not receive any benefits but do I need to apply as he lives with me??? Very confused.
also how do you change an address on the application.

Thanks for your help x

UC looks at couples so yes. Don't know the address point without going into the system.0

Nothing to do with the current situation, but why aren't you (or your husband) claiming chiild benefit?josiedev said:I need help. My husband is a self employed electrician and is now out of work. First person who applies says they are part of a couple and are given a linking code.
Second person who applies says they are part of a couple and inputs the linking code.
This joins the two claims into one assessment.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.0
