Self employed/own a rental property/Universal credit/coronavirus support

I am a self employed small builder who owns a rental property with a buy to let mortgage. I cannot work due to the coronavirus. I have tried assessing for universal credit but it appears the equity I have in the rental property exceeds the £16k therefore I am not entitled. Will the new government support for the self employed be assessed in the same way? I am currently bouncing credit cards balance transfers to pay sub contractors and suppliers. My current client has had cancer and is not happy for me to proceed with work plus suppliers are closed. I have enough money to live until Easter then I cant pay for anything. I have 2 school age children at home and am a single parent.

As no announcement has yet been made about support for self employed we have no way of knowing.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.1
