Made redundant, no consultation - advice needed

Options

I'd been employed with my company for 2yrs and 11months. On Feb 10th I started a sabbatical, due back to work 1st June.
On 10th March I had an email asking me to go into the office the next day (no reason given as to why), which I was unable to do as I had prior family commitments.
On 12th March I received a phone call from one of the managers to say I'd been made redundant.
As I didn't receive any consultation I'm assuming I can claim for unfair dismissal?
I was also the only person in my team (but not the company) to be made redundant so technically my job still exists. The other 2 team members kept on are much younger than me, one only started the job at the end of November and both were still on probation.
Any advice would be gratefully received!

I think it's well worth you getting proper legal advice. Good luck.
