I run a bakery which was due to close on March 31st. Both the other employees have been made redundant and I am due to go self employed on the 1st of April. There has been no income for 3 weeks, and none expected for the next few months.
The furlough employee support although back dated won’t be available until after the business has closed. The forthcoming self-employed support is likely to be based on previous self employed accounts.
My husband is working and our savings just take us over the Universal Credit threshold
What support is available?
TIA
