80% Furlough Scheme when two employments

I am employed by two separate companies. I work 4 days a week with my main employer and 1 day a week with the other. I have permanent contracts with both employments. My smaller employment would like me to take furlough for the 1 day a week I work with them. My other job is as a key worker so I am less likely to be asked to adopt the scheme there. Am I able to take furlough for one of my two jobs?

    We don't really know yet, but if they are able to offer it and want to, what realistic choice do you have?

    I have the same situation. 
    I have 2 full time PAYE jobs. 
    One job is asking me to take furlough. 
    The other employment is continuing as normal. 
    I am wondering if I will be able to take furlough?

    It’s will be the employer’s decision who to furlough. If they need to reduce the workforce and furlough employees I can’t see any reason why you would get excluded. Remember the scheme is aimed at preserving businesses so that tey can get back to normal as quickly as possible.
    however details of the scheme are not yet available so nothing is definite.
    Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.
