I subscribed to Disney+. I couldn’t find the app on 2 smart tv’s. Went on Disney chat line. Turns out neither of Panasonic, or hisense smartT are compatible with Disney+. Soo poor. Disney can’t help, blame tv manufacturers, only suggestion is to buy a chromecast. Would not reduce subscription cost to counteract the additional costs. Suggested terminating subscription. This is so bad.

Why didn't you investigate whether you could get the apps on your TV before subscribing? Surely most people would investigate how to get the app before signing up?A Chromecast is useful though. Don't rely on apps on TVs working for ever. With a Chromecast and a phone it doesn't matter if your TV supports apps or not.1

Get yourself a Roku, or similar streaming device but first check that you can get Disney+ on it, as you really should've done in the first place.0

It wasn't a trade secret so its not Disney's fault you didn't read that list.Anyway you can get it in a web browser and Chromecast/Miracast that to your TV if its supported. Or get a Firestick or Roku box or something that's listed as supported and use that, it'll come in handy when the apps on the TV drop out of support.0
