Cost of selling private listing

How much does it cost to advertise a car on 
autotrader,  ebay,  and motors.co.uk

motors.co.uk says a private listing is free to list and free to relist.  So what is in it for them?

What's in it for them. Your data.    They know what your selling and possibly what cars you have look at on the
site and their emails may have handy links to cars that may match that.  Upto 5 photo's I would want way more
pictures than that before thinking of going to view in person.

You shouldn't be selling anything at the moment if it involves someone travelling to your premises.

Indeed. In another post, you say you "desperately need" to buy a used car. Why? If it's because your existing car has died, then - yes, you do. If it's because you want to sell this one, and fancy a change, then... nope.

Remember, you shouldn't be using your car except for essential journeys - to and from work if you're a key-worker, to and from bare minimum food shopping if not walkable otherwise.
