Furloughed workers - please read

This forum is, understandably, full of questions about furloughed workers and the Job Retention scheme. Those of us who have been busy posting replies (I'm on holiday this week so have extra time) have stated over and over again that the details of the Job Retention Scheme have not been finalised and it therefore isn't possible to provide definite answers. Employers will be be just as uncertain as employees.

The House of Commons library has today posted this document

Paragraphs frequently begin "it is unclear", "there is some uncertainty", etc.
However please read before posting your queries. If the House of Commons doesn't know then we certainly don't.
