Furloughed and benefits

Both me and my husband both work full time and although I am classed as a furlough worker the HMRC have nothing set up yet as stated in the announcement. I know my work will not be able to pay out wages without this grant coming soon as they rely on weekly sales and my husband doesn't know anything from his work yet which means our bills can not be paid. Can we apply for any benefits or just wait for the HMRC?

See Universal Credit. https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/benefits/universal-credit/ There are online calculators to help you assess entitlement https://www.gov.uk/benefits-calculators
If the government would sort the details out so people could confirm what their employers would pay them perhaps there would be fewer people claiming Uc (477,000 claims in 9 days).Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.0
