Holiday with self booked flights and agent booked accommodation

In 2018 we booked a trip to Zimbabwe and Botswana through a travel agent which is ATOL and ABTOT listed. We were advised to book the flights directly as this would be cheaper. The agent has sourced a safari trip with a number of small camps and lodges.
Our flights are with South African Airlines passing through Johannesburg.
SAA have now cancelled all flights until Mid April and all International flights til 31 May. (We are due to travel out on 18th May).
South Africa Botswana and Zimbabwe have all announced compulsory 14 day quarantine for all visitors from Europe including UK.
SAA are currently offering a credit to be used by 2022 on flights but no refunds.
Our agent has offered to repay some of our costs (the last instalment) and try to get refunds on a good will basis from the lodges. The lodges have agreed to let us defer to 2021 subject to paying any inflationary increases in rates.
To further add to the situation my wife and I although under 70 have health conditions that now require us to self isolate for 12 weeks.
I think we should be able to make an insurance claim but and possibly a section 75 claim against the credit card companies.
Have I missed anything?
