Hi I've just been told that I wont be furloughed from my bar job as I'm not salaried. I just had set hours every week and got paid for those hours not on a set salary as such. I was on the books as an employee so i'm con fused about the 80% help. I'm sure lots of other bar workers and employees were also not salaried. Thanks for any thoughts on this topic.

It's the employers choice whether or not they designate employees as furloughed. If necessary look at Universal Credit. https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/benefits/universal-credit/ There are online calculators to help you assess entitlement https://www.gov.uk/benefits-calculatorsInformation I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.0
