Buying our next house

Hi Guys,

Pulling my hair out on this, we are in the middle of a house sale, we are currently renting and only 3 in the chain including us. We have not signed any contracts as of yet and still going through searches but it rolling along as normal so I'm assuming free to pull out. I have asked if we can put on hold during the uncertain time ahead but as of yet had no reply. If we move all of our savings go into the house and then the added pressure of possibly losing our jobs in the current climate although we are both safe at the moment. Or pull out carry on renting and lose a house we really love.....!!!!! I sound selfish in the current climate but just looking for ideas, option to help us make the right decision.

Thanks
