New job start date postponed

I was due to start a new job with the council on Monday 23rd March and was informed last Thursday that as they were making everyone work from home they weren’t able to have me start and have delayed the start date by 4 weeks as a minimum. What financial help can I get? My wife has more than £16,000 in savings so I know I can’t claim universal credit (I don’t think). I can’t find another job for at least 3 weeks as I have felt unwell and maybe in the ‘at risk’ category as I am coeliac. Any help would be really appreciated.
Thanks,
Sam
