Universal Credit Claim - Asking to make Appointment

I'm self employed and have just completed my Universal Credit claim for the first time under the new Coivd-19 rules.
The last thing on my todo list is apparently to make an appointment with the Jobcentre.  But there's also a message on the site that says you don't need to call or come to an appointment if you have one.
Anyone know what I have to do to complete this claim?

I would post a note in your journal saying that you have read the message and understand that you do not need to ring.

My understanding is that the phone lines are swamped and they simply cannot take calls. In due course DWP will probably ring you to confirm what needs to be confirmed. This may be a couple of weeks.

In the meantime keep an eye on your journal to see if their any new messages.
Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.
