Stocks and Shares isa

I've a Scottish Widows stocks and shares isa, which invests in UK small businesses and ethical companies. I only pay in £100 a month, and at the start of March it had a value of over £15 000. This is now down to just below £11 000. Should I keep investing and play the long game ? Withdraw the money and cut my losses (it was to help fund university, 2 years away for child 1) Or change what my money is being invested into? Any advice really gratefully received. I'm also considering using it to pay a lump off my mortgage instead.
Thank you
Sally

The advice you are seeking is likely to fall, at least in part, within the rules applying to investment advice. See https://www.fca.org.uk/consumers/understanding-advice-guidance-investments
The general guidance on stocks and shares is that the value matters on only two dates: when you buy and when you sell. Selling at the bottom of the market is the worst option. The trouble is who knows what the bottom is?1 -
Left my crystal ball somewhere.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.0
