Accepting vouchers or an alternative holiday in a year's time

I just wonder how you stand if you accept a voucher from an airline or tour operator or you allow them to postpone your holiday to a fixed date next year. I am concerned about two things: 1. If the company goes bust, would you still be able to claim on your credit card? Wouldn't the original transaction be void since you have exchanged it for a voucher? 2. If you agree to moving your booking and it has to be changed again due to the virus, your insurance wouldn't cover this as they would say it is a new booking. 3. If you take a voucher for a later holiday and the company goes bust in the meantime, would insurance pay out
Has anyone any ideas on this? Thanks.
