Octopus

Options
I recently used the your link to move to Octopus. There was an error and this was delayed but now going ahead tomorrow. I received an email from you advising that it would not go ahead and I am concerned that now it is, you may not know and will lose out on any commission.

In all the switches I have carried out through the MSE CEC, it has never contacted me again after the initial confirmation that they had received my application. (save for any cashback due months later)

How would they possibly know what the supplier has decided about your application, let alone the date the switch would go live???
All the CEC usually receives is confirmation months after IF the switch goes live and remains live, as CEC will then get paid their commission due (and that drives the cashback of poart of that commission to you)

However, in the event you were notified the switch was not going ahead by the CEC, then that would be the end of it, as that would have been based on the notification to the CEC by the supplier.
If the switch is now back on, that would be because you had re-applied. If that was carried out via the CEC, then you will receive the cashback specified for a successful switch.

    Welcome to MSE, btw. ...
