Benefit Cap and coronavirus

I'm concerned there's been no announcement about the Benefit Cap. If it stays in place it could wipe out gains on Universal Credit Standard Allowance/Housing Costs in many cases, especially for private renters. It's the maximum monthly amount you can get in benefits per household, and it's not generous, and pretty unfair in who it hits.

As far as I am aware the benefit cap remains in place.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.0
