Mum gave notice to forfill demand on self employed job now stuck

Hi guys,
I wondered if you could give some advice please. My mum worked part time at a school so she had a steady income throughout the year. She also does work for her own business and as this got more popular she gave her notice in around three weeks ago obviously not realising we'd go into lockdown. Now she cannot do this work as it is mainly face to face and she has no income from the school. She gets a little UC. What can she do?

If her income has dropped her UC will increase. There will also be a general increase next month. If she isn't already getting it she should look at claiming Council Tax Reduction from her local authority.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.0
