Wife pregnant high risk

Hi, my wife is currently pregnant and is now in a high risk category, I still have to come to work as a carer and I am very worried that I could bring this virus on to my pregnant wife and young son at home, now where do I stand with regards to this I've been searching for information but nothing is very clear, as she is off work for 12 weeks to prevent the risks of catching the virus do I do the same thing to protect them and myself also? I don't get sick pay in my job only statutory sick pay so how would that work with regards to this?
Lastiy would I be able to be get Furlough leave from my employer to stay at home and look after my young son whilst protecting my pregnant wife?
Any help is much appreciated thanks.

You cannot get furlough it is not designed for taking time off to look after vulnerable people
Your wife is in the vulnerable group which just means that she and anyone she lives/works with needs to take extra care.
She is not considered to be in the extremely vulnerable group unless she also has significant heart disease, congenital or acquired. If that is the case then she will receive a text or letter from the NHS.
Regardless of which group she falls into, your employer need take no action to help. They may allow you to use your leave, unpaid leave or I believe that you could claim SSP.
I have had the text and am now stuck a home for the next 12 weeks. My wife is a carer in a nursing home. She is working as normal (actually additional hours as staff go into self-isolation). We just have to adhere to the the social distancing advice at home and increase the hand and body washing to reduce the risk

Government advice for people caring for dependants is as follows:
What to do if an employee needs time off work to look after someone
Employees are entitled to time off work to help someone who depends on them (a ‘dependant’) in an unexpected event or emergency. This would apply to situations related to coronavirus (COVID-19). For example:
- if they have children they need to look after or arrange childcare for because their school has closed
- to help their child or another dependant if they’re sick, or need to go into isolation or hospital
There’s no statutory right to pay for this time off, but some employers might offer pay depending on the contract or workplace policy.
ACAS has more information on coronavirus and can help with specific queries by phone.
