put name down at pharmacy - nothing heard. "250,000 needed by government as volunteers" Where to apply ??? Age 68, heart problem, but would like to assist. Have full tank of petrol. Live on own, have family but hey ho (Too old to be worried really !)

The announcement's just been made, give it time before the details are released. Having said that you are bordering on the higher risk part of society so I;d think very carefully about volunteering if it's going to mean mixing with others or putting yourself at risk on a regular basis.0
