Another vote for Aveeno - I find their 'Skin Relief' works brilliantly for me, whereas E45 made my skin worse !At the end of the day it's really a mater of trial and error to find what works for you.1

Thank you for recommending Aveeno skin relief cream, I have been trying it on my eczema. In 5 days its reduced by about 50% and I can now wash without it feeling like I am scrapping broken glass on my skin. Thanks0

Aveeno is brilliant stuff and works really quickly. Aqueous cream is better as a soap substitute than a moisturiser.0

I was prescribed E45 cream when I was younger and it made my skin absolutely terrible. My skin developed a hard shiny appearance which did not look or feel like human skin, more like something you might expect to see on a synthetic human/robot. It was very unpleasant. I seem to remember that it might have lanolin in it which might of been what caused the problems for me. Needless to say I would never go near to it again, not even if it was free.
When my skin is dry which it can do especially with all the hand washing, I find some oil helps a lot. I use either Jojoba oil or Rosehip oil. Rosehip oil can be very expensive and it can have quite a dark colour which can be seen or can make the skin look sort of tanned/coloured orange. It can make you look like a JaffaJojoba oil is said to be very close to natural sebum and it is fairly inexpensive so it might be worth getting a tiny container of that to try to see if it suits you and helps.
Scurvy, a deficiency of vitamin c can cause what you describe, especially on the legs. As a person gets older, inflammation tends to increase which uses up more and more vitamin c to compensate.
Therefore it might be worth trying some vitamin C because vitamin C is necessary for normal collagen production and healing and it might help reduce bruising. Collagen is needed throughout the body, it supports the skin, strengthens the circulatory system, the bones and can help with the current SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. It has been used via IV to treat sufferers of COVID-19 in some countries. It might help with the purple marks. However I do suggest that you ask your doctor before taking it just in case it affects your medical conditions especially if you have diabetes and it could potentially affect other conditions that I am not aware of. I am not a doctor or medically trained so ask advice from your normal healthcare provider.
Be aware that Ascorbic Acid ie vitamin c is very acidic and can upset some people's stomachs. There are none acidic versions which are often combined with sodium bicarb to form a more neutral pH Sodium Ascorbate which is better tolerated by people who have problems with the acidity of Ascorbic Acid. There are other varieties of vitamin c sometimes called ester c which do not seem to have the same acidity.

@gatita Firstly I suggest you speak with a GP About your leg
But rose oil , argan oil , bio oil , alo Vera cream , Tee tree lotion are really good.
And @Ahsin512 Try tea tree face wash or just wash face with water ( also over washing face can be the cause) diet can play role ( speaking from experience)

I have dry skin myself, and I have tried many lotions and cream on the market. But I have come down to three, depending on the weather, that have worked well for me. They are all natural and inexpensive - Coconut oil (when weather is fine), Cocoa butter (when weather is cold) and Shea butter raw (when weather is cold and dry). It has really help my skin and stopped any eczema from flaring up.0
