Stuck in the middle employed/self employed
I wonder if anyone can help me please?
I have been employed since the age of 15 (am now 32). I am currently on my second lot of maternity leave and this is due to finish at the end of March. I started a self employed position in January (all confirmed above board with Maternity Action). My salon has shut for a week and will obviously continue to be closed. Where do I stand on claiming any income? Obviously I don’t have 3 years worth of self employed income and I am not actually employed any longer.
Thanks so much in advance.

Look at Universal Credit. There are online calculators to help you assess entitlement https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/benefits/universal-credit/

Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.0
