I have a joint Flex account with my wife
Can I open a seperate FlexDirect account just in my name - to use as an easy access savings account - to take advantage of the 5% interest offered on (up to £2500) if I temporarily move £1000 per month across from Flex to FlexDirect account for a few minutes ?
Am I missing something ?

You can certainly apply for a sole FlexDirect but IIRC the T&Cs stipulate that the monthly funding to qualify for the 5% AER must come from a non-Nationwide account.2
