Getting hold of BT

I arranged to move from BT phone to Virgin on 17 March, Virgin were to come 2 April to connect me. On 19 March I called BT & Virgin to cancel the move as I could see lockdown could leave me without a line altogether. I've had no email from BT confirming I'm staying with them and my bill dated 23 March is calculated assuming I'm leaving BT. I've been holding ti speak to BT for 55 minutes, but there's no longer a ringing tone. What should I do?

    Any contact from VM ??
    Who is your phone and BB with right now ??
    BT and other companies are very very busy due to the so called lockdown .
    You are going to have to wait and see what happens .

    You could use your BT members page to see if any progress .
    Use your BT Help page BT Community forum to ask a question .
    Send via help page a contact us email But dont expect a quick reply .
    BT and VM are two totally separate infrastructures both having nothing to do with the other re lines etc .
    Watch out that you dont end up with two services and two bills .
